Questions
Do I need to buy any hardware?
Not to run the floor: everyone uses their own iPhone or Android phone. You only need an ESC/POS receipt printer if you want tickets in the kitchen.
I already have a POS. What do I do with it?
Restia runs on your team's phones and doesn't need that machine. If your receipt printer is ESC/POS over Wi-Fi or network, Restia can print to it. You can try Restia for 30 days with no card and no hardware to buy.
Will it work with my printer?
If it's an ESC/POS receipt printer, yes: over Wi-Fi or network on iPhone and Android, and over Bluetooth on Android only. It doesn't print over USB or AirPrint.
What if the internet goes down?
You keep taking orders and recording payments on your phone. When the connection comes back, everything syncs.
Does it take card payments or open the cash drawer?
Restia records every payment and every tip, and runs the cash register for each shift. You take card payments on your own card terminal, because Restia doesn't connect to it. It doesn't open the cash drawer either.
What about Verifactu?
It isn't available yet. We're working on it and we aim to have it ready before it becomes mandatory. When it ships, it's part of your plan.
Will switching be a hassle?
A setup wizard guides you when you create your restaurant. Scan your menu from photos or a file and Restia creates the dishes. You only need to check them. Your team works on the phone they already know. And you get 30 days with no card to try it before you decide.
Do I pay for each waiter?
No. You pay per restaurant, with unlimited users and devices.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you don't subscribe, your restaurant becomes read-only. You can still sign in, see past orders, stats and reservations, and export your data. Reservations already made stay in place. Taking new orders or creating reservations needs a subscription. We never delete your data.
Can I cancel?
You can cancel the monthly plan any time. The yearly plan isn't refunded: if you cancel, it doesn't renew and stays active until the end of the year you paid for.

No. 21% VAT is added: €59 a month comes to €71.39, and €590 a year comes to €713.90.
What if I have 4 or more restaurants?
